Guitar Practice
Was strumming around tonight and practicing one of Mercy Me’s songs, Bring the Rain and figured I’d give it shot at recording it to share…it has been awhile since I shared any songs on here or the podcast. I’m still using my trusty iPod with the Belkin clip-on stereo mic (all high tech and stuff)

I love it, Son. It pleases me to know you are extending your love to the Father in every area of talent he has blessed you with. You continue to excite me in how you utilize your time!
Momma
I like your acoustic version! Great voice, great guitar, great song. I love you, brother Jeff.
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.”
Jeff,
Thanks…I miss singing with you and this is one of my favorites….Thanks for sharing! God Bless You and in All you seek to do in his name.
As I have shared with you early this morning by phone your playing and singing of Bring The Rain ministered to my heart around 3 am this morning bringing comfort and confirmation in the midst of my sickness with the flu.
God always seems to give me a theme song each year which I hang upon my refrigerator. As you are well aware David Crowder’s You Are My Joy hung there 3 years ago last year Third Day’s Mac Powell hung there for his belting out TRUTH in You Are The Light Of The World. This year I have two songs hanging upon my refrigerator door. Bring The Rain by Mercy Me and When The Saints Go Marching In by Sara Groves whose lyrics have literally been burned into my heart.
You ended this past Sunday’s message, Growing In The Garden Of Gethsemane with these personal words from your own heart. “I don’t want to leave my God down, I just don’t want to leave my God down.”
Standing with you brother in these words. I don’t want to have to stand before my God and tell him (or just look at him) because He will already know my tragic excuse that I am bringing which says that His LOVE and POWER living in me just wasn’t enough to see me through this life and make me a victorious conqueror in Christ! Even to write this seems most ludicrous! How could the God who’s power created and sustains EVERYTHING not have the power to sustain me through anything this life may bring????
I want to be one of those saints who goes marching in…..Amen brother!
Beautiful clear sounding Taylor! Keep up with the guitar lessons. So great God provided someones within your own body to provide them for you!
Good stuff…
